What is a brushless reduction motor?

A brushless reduction motor is a BLDC motor with an integrated gearbox (reducer) on the output shaft. The gearbox reduces speed and multiplies torque, turning a high-speed low-torque BLDC into a low-speed high-torque drive suitable for conveyors, AGVs and machine axes.

Which gearbox type should I choose?

Planetary for highest efficiency and low backlash. Worm for right-angle output and self-locking load hold. Right-angle bevel for right-angle without the efficiency penalty of worm. The choice depends on load holding, backlash sensitivity and layout constraints.

What output torque is achievable?

From about 2 Nm on small 100W planetary units up to 300 Nm on 2kW high-ratio gearboxes. Peak torque during acceleration can reach roughly 3x rated briefly.

Is the controller included?

Yes. Shenghe ships the matching BLD-series or BLDB-series controller as a pair with the reduction motor, validated at the factory to avoid phase-to-Hall alignment problems during commissioning.
