48V 120W BLDC Gear Motor — BL80 / 4GU-80 Email: info@shenghe-motor.com
SKU: 80BL-120W (4GU-80)

48V 120W BLDC Gear Motor — BL80 L-Type Hollow Shaft, 1:136 High-Ratio Option.

The Shenghe BL80 is a 48V 120W L-type BLDC gear motor in the 80mm frame size — the lightest gear motor in the BL-series, sized for compact automation cells, packaging machinery, lab equipment and lightweight AGV / AMR traction. Four reduction ratios (30:1 / 40:1 / 50:1 / 136:1) make this build flexible across speed regimes, with the 1:136 high-ratio option unique to the BL80 frame for very slow controlled motion (22 rpm output at 39-52 N·m). The 15mm hollow output shaft and 94mm PCD mounting flange fit cabinet automation where larger frames won't.

Section 2 — Output Torque + Speed by Reduction Ratio

Ratio Selection Table.

Four ratios share the same housing — the 1:136 ratio is uniquely available on the BL80 frame.

Reduction ratioOutput speed (rpm)Output torque (N·m, at 80% gearbox eff)Typical application

Section 3 — 80BL Power-Tier Comparison

Same Frame, Two Power Tiers.

The 80BL frame supports two power tiers in the same 80mm envelope.

VariantPowerMotor torque (pre-reduction)Output torque @ 1:50EXW Ningbo (motor only)
80BL-60W60 W≈ 0.19 N·m≈ 7.6 N·m~$38 USD
80BL-120W (this page)120 W≈ 0.38 N·m≈ 15 N·m~$42 USD

For higher continuous power (200W / 400W) step up to the 90BL frame — see /48v-400w-bldc-gear-motor/ for the BL90 SKU page.

Section 4 — Kit Configuration

Motor + Controller — Factory-Paired Single PO.

Same factory line means single warranty, single engineering contact. For 120W at 48V, the BLD22010 is the matched controller.

Section 5 — Applications

Where the BL80 120W Is Used.

Compact-envelope applications across automation, lab, packaging and lightweight AGV.

Compact Automation Cells

Cabinet-mounted automation machines where the 80mm frame is the largest motor that fits the enclosure. Feed, sort, index drives with 1:40 or 1:50 ratio give 60-75 rpm output, suitable for general-purpose actuation.

Packaging Machinery (Slow-Feed Drives)

The 1:136 high-ratio option (22 rpm output, ~39-52 N·m) is purpose-built for slow controlled motion — capping, slow-feed, semi-automated assembly fixtures. Hall-sensor commutation keeps acoustic noise low for high-cadence indoor lines.

Lab Equipment + Medical Devices

3-phase BLDC commutation is mandatory for mass spec, HPLC and precision dosing pumps where vibration and EMI matter more than peak torque. The 80mm envelope fits benchtop instruments. See /brushless-motor-for-medical-equipment/.

Lightweight AGV / AMR + Indoor Service Robots

Two BL80-120W motors at 1:40 ratio drive a lightweight AGV chassis (under 50 kg payload) — picking carts, indoor service robots, delivery platforms. See /bldc-motor-for-agv/.

Section 6 — How to Specify + Integrate

5-Step Selection Walkthrough.

Estimated 25 minutes from load calculation to RFQ-ready specification.

Step 1 — Load torque + speed

Compute required output Nm and rpm. Cross-check against the 4-ratio table — note the 1:136 ratio gives ≈ 4× the output torque of 1:30 with proportionally slower speed.

Step 2 — Pick 1:136 only when slow motion is the load profile

1:136 is for slow controlled motion. For general AGV mid-class use, 1:40 is the typical choice. For indexing, 1:50 or 1:136 both work.

Step 3 — Controller variant

BLD22010 (DC 18-60V) for 48V-only deployments (preferred — lower idle current). BLD6010 (DC 80-220V) if system may scale higher.

Step 4 — Mounting + cabling

94mm PCD flange. 8-wire bundle (UL1007). Default 1000mm cable; longer or custom connectors at factory line.

Step 5 — Run-in + tuning

BLD22010 PID auto-tune → 100-hour break-in at 80% load → full S1 continuous duty. Vibration is naturally low due to 3-phase Hall commutation.

Section 7 — FAQ

48V 120W BLDC Gear Motor — Engineer + Buyer Questions.

Concise B2B answers.

Output torque?

≈ 15 N·m at 1:50. ≈ 39-52 N·m at 1:136 high-ratio (slower output). 9-12 N·m at lower ratios.

Why a 1:136 ratio?

Unique to the BL80. For slow controlled motion (22 rpm output) where small envelope matters — indexing tables, slow-feed packaging, semi-auto assembly.

"Small 3-phase brushless DC gear motor"?

Yes. The BL80 qualifies — 80mm frame, 3-phase Hall-sensor BLDC, suited to cobot joints, lab automation, medical pumps, packaging.

BL80 vs BL90 — which?

BL80 (60W-120W, 80mm, 15mm shaft, 94 PCD) for smallest envelope. BL90 (200W-400W, 90mm, 20mm shaft, 104 PCD) for more power.

Controller pairing?

BLD22010 (DC 18-60V) preferred for 48V-only. BLD6010 (DC 80-220V) for systems that may scale.

Applications?

Compact automation, packaging (slow-feed), lab equipment, medical pumps, lightweight AGV under 50 kg payload.

Other power tiers in 80BL?

60W (~$38) / 120W (~$42) USD EXW Ningbo. Both share PCD + shaft + ratio options.

Lead time + MOQ?

2-3 weeks production, 7-10 day sample. 10+ unit orders at catalogue price. Payment: T/T 30/70, PayPal samples, L/C above USD 30k.
